Led by the city of Angers, the 2nd edition of Equality Month will take place from March 4 to 31.
19 events open to all will address issues of equality between women and men and better understand today’s issues.
The theme chosen for 2023 “equality, everyone concerned – being a woman, being a man today, 5 years after MeToo” and the diversity of formats (concert, performances, plays, round table… ) are intended for all audiences.
Exhibition In the name of women
“In the name of women” presents the journey of nineteen Angevines whose life and actions for the city are an inspiration for new generations of girls and boys, and for all in terms of gender equality.
Guided tours are offered to discover anecdotes and key dates that will help to better understand today’s issues. Through playful workshops, participants are invited to question themselves on women’s rights and other subjects!
